Intellectual Property 447CLN-1 Clinic: Trademark Clinic
Under the supervision of a trademark practitioner, students will conduct trademark searches, write trademark opinion letters and write and prosecute trademark applications for individuals and small businesses before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Students will prosecute and supervise a portfolio of in-process applications. Students will prepare responses to technical and substantive office actions under supervision and, if such actions arise, will handle opposition and cancellation proceedings limited to concurrent use and likelihood of confusion issues under lawyer supervision. Clinic Director Approval is required prior to enrollment in the course.
