Estate Planning 417-W OL: Est Settle & Trust Admin
This class covers the federal and state tax issues and probate and trust law issues that occur in the settlement of an estate or post-death administration of a trust. The class will identify the risks inherent in the estate settlement process and discuss the management of these risks. Topics covered include digital assets; electronic wills; post-death accounting issues; fiduciary and individual income tax consequences; and valuation issues.
