Juris Doctor 159AA-6 LS III: Appellate Advocacy
Students refine their advocacy skills and learn advanced concepts of persuasion. Students will also learn the fundamentals of appellate writing and oral argument. The course will end with a school-wide intra-scholastic moot court competition where the students prepare a brief and present two oral arguments in a hypothetical appellate case. The top students from the preliminary rounds then argue in elimination rounds to determine the winner of the competition.
