ERISA Responsiblities for Financial Institutions & Service Providers (EB-353)
This course examines substantive areas that financial institutions and other service providers must be familiar with when providing and being compensated for investment options and services to plans subject to the Code and ERISA. The course will focus primarily on qualified retirement plans but will also highlight issues encountered by service providers to executive compensation plans. The goal of the course is to assist students with the practical application of current laws and regulations from the perspective of financial institutions and other service providers, the plan sponsor, the plan fiduciary and the attorney providing services to the plan sponsor or plan fiduciary.
