Master Class in International Trade and Development Law (IBT-799YA)
This class will examine how trade can promote development and how to manage trading relationships between rich and poor countries. Specifically, it will look at preferential programs such as GSP, CBI, and AGOA. It will examine trade controversies involving lumber, generic drugs, intellectual property rights and hormone-treated food products. If time and class size permits, we will negotiate a free trade agreement. This course will include a required field trip.
